In the Russian Federation will develop a program for the transfer of children to study in one shift

To date, over 24% of Russian schools work in two shifts. On this subject, I spoke Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. About 2.5 million students are now studying in the second shift, 17 thousand students studying at the third shift (in Chechnya, Dagestan and Ingushetia).

In the near future the program on product renovation of existing schools and the construction will be taken new ones. All this is done to ensure that all children are taught in one shift.

«Trehsmenka" - this, of course. a big problem, because the two-shift education and it creates difficulties. In an amicable way, we must do in the future to move away from two-shift education, to go to normal single-shift training. But three shifts - it is quite a heavy story, so you need to get rid of it, "- said Medvedev at a meeting with the head of Ingushetia, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov.

"We will think of that in the long run, may not be in the coming year, but at least in the next few years to create a separate program for the reconstruction of schools, the creation of new schools and the care of the two three-shift modes of schooling ", - said the prime minister.
