Duma has not supported a bill to a five-day school week in schools

On Tuesday at the State Duma rejected the proposal of the bill from the deputies of the "Fair Russia" to establish a five-day working week in Russian schools. To date, each school itself determines the mode of operation, in which it will operate. The choice is between five-day and six-day, the main condition - the observance of the weekly training load and rest periods. The explanatory note to the bill SRs referred to the Ministry of Education data, are experiencing growth of children suffering from various chronic colds, which may cause a large load at school. The project is recommended to reject, because five-day school week will not allow to fully grasp the curriculum, especially in classes with in-depth study of specific subjects.
